Olivia beamed up at Harvey. "you are so good to me, Mr Dent. This is wonderful "
She shivered slightly as she looked around. Though the room was warmer than outside, it was still chilly. "So what happens now? Will you stay here?"

Once Olivia was settled at the table, Harvey moved to the side of the table and uncorked the wine. He poured a glass for Olivia and then himself.
"Sorry about the temperature. We'll go upstairs for coffee later on. I hope you don't mind but I want you all to myself for a while." He bent and kissed her softly.
Harvey took a few steps across the room and returned wth two plates of turkey sandwiches covered with a clean tea towel. He set one down at each place then sat down opposite Olivia.
"Again, not really the Thanksgiving dinner I'd choose to give you, but I did my best. Hopefully next year will be a little more homely."
He reached across the table and took her hand. "I'm thankful for you, Olivia. For everything you are - for your staying with me all this time, after everything that's happened between us. I am truly, truly thankful."

Olivia could have done backflips of joy when Harvey brought out the sandwiches. No man had ever done something so thoughtful for her.
She gasped at his next words. "Oh that's right! Its Thanksgiving! I'd completely forgotten. Happy Thanksgiving, handsome."
She squeezed his hand and felt herself smile widely. "I'm thankful for you too. You're so good to me. I'm thankful that I stuck around after out little...road bump so you could prove just how wonderful you are."
She released his hand and began eating her sandwich. "This is pretty good! Much better than what my Thanksgiving dinner at home would have been. I was planning on ordering a pizza or something equally pathetic."
She tilted her head to the side slightly as a thought struck her. "So...Arkham belongs to the inmates now. Does this mean you can get away? We should take a vacation together, I think. Someplace nice and secluded with no stupid clowns and no police."

Harvey lifted her hand to his lips. "Well, I'm just grateful you gave me the chance."
He began to eat his own sandwich. "I'm almost sorry Joker decided to stage his coup on the one day we actually got decent food. Still, they do say no good deed goes unpunished."
Harvey paused. "I can't do that, Ollie. Not yet. Believe me, I'd love to, but things are still too fragile here. I don't know how the police are going to react, and the inmates could do anything now they're free. I need to keep an eye on things here. I can't predict the Joker - I worry about him. I'm always trying to think two steps ahead."

Olivia leaned an elbow on the table and rested her head on her upturned palm, looking at Harvey fondly. "You're something else, Harvey Dent. Only you would worry about a psychopathic clown that's attacked your girlfriend twice. It's okay, I don't actually mind. He's rather endearing when he's not being a complete asshole."
She took a sip of wine, keeping a warm gaze on the man before her. "So I guess I should stay here for a day or two. I don't really want to get jumped by the cops asking me questions as to why I was here. Think you or the clown could sneak me out? I guess I should call into work as well...Tell them I got some horrible virus or something."
She nibbled on her turkey sandwich, attempting to keep only positive thoughts in her head. Tonight needed to be upbeat for Harvey's sake. Lord knows he needed as much happiness in his life as possible. She set her sandwich down and got up, moving to sit in his lap. She gently removed his sandwich from his hand and placed it on his plate.
"My dear Mr. Dent, I'd very much enjoy a lovely Thanksgiving snog session with you this evening. Two-Face can even jump in if he'd like. I sort of owe him anyway...What say you?"

Harvey paused for a long moment before replying, his voice quiet.
"Two-Face is in love with the Joker. I think he'd rather be hanged, drawn and quartered than admit it to Joker of course, but I know. He's never felt like this before - I can't get in the way of that."
His gaze grew slightly distant. "When they're together, I've never felt him so happy. It's not like you and me - you calm me, you keep me relatively sane. If anything Joker only excites him more, makes him wilder and darker... but if it ended between them, frankly I don't know what Two-Face would do."
Harvey toyed with his wineglass. "He'd be uncontrollable. And that's a frightening thought."
He put down the glass and looked full at Olivia. "Of course you can stay. It'll be like old times." Hissmile faltered slightly "Only, I've already promised Two-Face he can stay wih Joker tonight. My timing is impeccable, isn't it?"
Harvey's smile returned as he gently wrapped his arms around Olivia's slim form. He leaned forwards and kissed her softly, then with more passion, hands gliding up and down her back.
"I'm not even going to dignify that question with an answer. Verbally, anyway."
He leaned in and kissed her deeply, hands now stroking up her neck to gently hold her mouth down on his.

Olivia snuggled close to Harvey. "It must be really scary knowing that the clown has so much sway over Two-Face. I hope nothing goes south between them...That may get a little ugly."
She kissed him back, but not with much enthusiasm. "I see how it is. You drag me out here for a nice dinner and plan on ditching me here, stuck in the Asylum, for those two. It's okay. I'm not bitter."
She downed the remainder of his wine. "You owe me, though. Big time."

He nodded almost gloomily. "Two-Face is not one for restraint and self-discipline and being gracious in defeat."
Harvey nuzled at the base of Olivia's throat and looked up at her with soft eyes. "Don't be like that, sweetheart. Anyway, they had a fight earlier, if you must know. Two-Face might not even want to be with Joker tonight."
He stroked her hair, voice quiet and sincere. "I would do anything for you." His eye widened slightly, and Two-Face's rough growl cut through Harvey's soft murmur.
"I wouldn't. But he's right, Joker can go fuck himself for all I care because I'm not doing it. Or he can have Crane if he's desperate. Or anyone."

Olivia smiled slightly. "I'm just being difficult. Don't worry about it."
At Two-Face's voice, she quirked an eyebrow. "Well hello to you too. What did Joker do to piss you off? I'm rather intrigued..."

"Talked to me like I'm one of his fucking goons, is what he did," Two-Face snapped. "And look at this - " he unfastened some of the buttons of his shirt to show the shallow knife wound just below his solar plexus - "The bastard actually knifed me. Knifed ME."
He gazed into middle distance, still fuming. "Now don't get me wrong, I love it when he gets the knives out in bed, but not in the middle of a fight in the kitchen."

Olivia hissed softly at the sight of the wound. She reached out and touched it gently, feeling relief that it wasn't anything serious. "Goddam...Are you all right? That's all he did I hope?"
She kissed his bad cheek gently. "Try not to take it too seriously, babe. I mean...Just look at the source. He's not exactly the most tactful or sensitive person I've ever met. Can I do anything to cheer you up?"

Two-Face left his shirt open after Olivia had lookd at the knife wound. "Yeah, I'm good. I've had far worse, this was just his version of a bitch-slap."
He looked down at the wound, wiping off a smear of blood with a fingertip. "You do have to admire the profesionalism though. I've never seen anyone handle a knife like he does. He can slip the point just under the top layers of skin, just enough to flay it open and draw blood but not even touch the tissue underneath. It's an art form."
He sat back in the chair and absently laced his fingers at the back of Olivia's waist. He gave a short laugh. "Babe? You're calling me Babe now? Whatever will Harvey think? And yeah, I know. It's just Joker, it's how he is. First time the fucker's ever been like that with me, though. First and last."
Two-Face bent his head back and looked up at Olivia's face, his gaze almost amused under the familiar black glitter.
"I know what you want me to say.... but you want me to say it so you don't have to think about being attracted to someone like me and what it says about you."
His hand began to glide slowly up and down her back. "Because I think, under all the wide eyes and the Harvey-needs-help bullshit, you want to be as wild as I am."

Olivia tilted her head slightly and looked down at Two-Face through half-lidded eyes. She ran her fingers lightly over the puckered, discolored skin of his face. "I don't remember ever saying I didn't want to think about being attracted to you. I've always had to be the 'good girl' for my brother. He did so much to protect me from our mother that I was never able to really let go."
She shifted so that she straddled his lap and laced her fingers behind his neck. "You intrigue me, Two-Face. I sort of want to know if I'd enjoy a rather special...adventure with you." She dipped her head down to take his earlobe gently between her teeth before continuing. "C'mon, babe. Show me a good time."

Two-Face leaned his head closer, his dark growl sending warm breath across her lips and cheeks. "And you want to be the bad girl."
He looked up and gave an almost diabolic grin. "Oh, you'd enjoy it. Trust me on that."
He tilted his head, lips fastening on her throat in a slow, hard kiss that slid down to the base of her throat and over her collarbone to the neckline of her sweater, bending her body backwards on his lap.

Olivia shivered with nervous delight as he spoke. "I know." She whispered in response.
She threw her head back, eyes fluttering shut as his lips slid down her neck. The heat growing too intense, she pulled off the sweater and tossed it carelessly aside, leaving her top clad only in a white cami with her blue plaid bra peaking through.
She raked her nails down his bare chest, coming to rest near his knife wound. "Sure you're up for this? Don't want you to overexert yourself if you're feeling a bit...sub par."
