Olivia smiled softly. "I'm looking forward to it, actually. I'm sort of in a mood to be spoiled."

She looked at the burning paper, wrinkling her nose slightly. "Good point. I'm not really sure how that would be explained. 50 should be fine. What are you planning on getting Joker, by the way? A stuffed animal filled with sharp objects?"

He leaned forwards and kissed her cheek. "Good. What do you want to do for the holidays? You could come and stay in Arkham, or I can sneak out for a day or two and we can stay in my apartment. I know which would be the more pleasant surroundings."

Harvey laughed, despite his dark mood. "He'd like that, but I said I'd get him something from here. What can you recommend?"

He stood up and began browsing the nearest shelf, which happened to be history. Something caught his eye. "Medieval torture devices and their uses. He'd love that. He keeps talking about getting a welder to come in and make him an Iron Maiden. I'm fairly sure he's joking but it's hard to tell with him. Better get him something lighter as well. Let's see, what else..."

He gazed around at the shelves, picking out books seemingly at random.
