Amelia slowly stepped inside the apartment. It looked like something out of a fancy real estate magazine. Large windows with excellent views of the city, expensive furniture. All of it, paid for by her father. Even though they did kill them, he did leave Logan and Amelia his fortune. How...strange. Amelia tried not to think of the places that gave her the most significant memories. Now, it was different. It was no longer a physical prison, but a mental one.
"Make yourself comfortable. Ryan" she addressed Ryan. I know it will be a little difficult for me to do so...

"Wow," Ryan said looking around "this place is huge, i bet you could shout in one room and there would be places in this place you wouldn't hear it." he didn't want to say scream knowing they had been abused by their father, Ami in particular but it didn't mean that it wasn't true.
"Dibs on the shower," he said before rushing out of the room not even considering he didn't know where the shower was.

"Thanks." Logan said cooly. He headed to his room, hoping there'd be a suit waiting for him.
Amelia on the other hand, laughed. "You'll probably need a tour first, silly!" She followed Ryan, and then took him by the hand.

Ryan smiled when Ami caught up to him and took him by the hand, Ryan however knew that they had stuff that they needed to talk about first so stopped and pulled her closer to him.
"Ami," he said "I'm sorry about earlier, i just i didn't think through at the time what it would mean to you if I died, i am so use to being alone with no one apart from Goodnite, i am a little, reckless."

"I wouldn't forgive myself if you died back there." She replied solemnly. "And It would have been very hard for me to live with that." she looked away for a moment. The room they were in, the dining room, was one of those sensitive rooms for her. Her father and mother argued here very often. She let go of his hand, and paced the room. "I guess what I'm trying to say is...If you're gonna play a role in my life, you're gonna have to consider the fact that there will be times where you'll have to sacrifice your recklessness. I don't wanna lose you, especially not so suddenly."

"I understand that," Ryan said walking back towards her, just wanting to hold her, he knew she was stressed, it was this room in particular but this house, coming home, must have been hard for her. "That was what I meant, I am getting use to not being super killer me anymore, just being me but i will learn for you."

Amelia hugged Ryan immediately. "I...I can't shake the feeling that we've got a long way to go until we'll feel entirely safe." she was fighting back tears. "I'm sorry about how I was acting before."

"You had full right b ... Ami." he said holding her tight, he had gone to call her babe like normal but he didn't know if they were still together completely so he had decided not to push his luck with her and make her think he thought they could just go right back to normal.
"I know how you feel," he said with a small grin "but I got you, you have me and Logan we are going to be fine."

Amelia felt relieved by Ryan's words of comfort. He meant them(not like she didn't expect him to). After a few moments, she let go, taking a few steps back. "I'm a terrible hostess." she snorted.

"Totally hot one though Ami," Ryan said with a smile "so what do you want to do? do i get to use the shower first? or do you think Logan has taken the oppurtunity to get in it?"

Amelia blushed, not hiding it this time. "Logan has probably gotten the chance to use the shower first, which is on the other side of the apartment. Right now, we are in the dining room."

Ryan chuckled at Ami's blush he was glad to see they could still have a laugh and a joke together even though what had gone on.
"Now if it's ok with you," Ryan said "I would really like to kiss you again or have my actions from earlier stopped that?"

"No tour then?" Amelia asked playfully, moving closer to Ryan. "Well, since you asked so nicely..." Amelia then kissed Ryan.

Ryan smiled as Ami playfully moved closer towards him before kissing him, normally kissing her he would have held back and let her dictate the pace but right now he wanted her to feel the care and love that he had for her so kissed her a little more than he normally would. Breaking the kiss he smiled at her.
"So are we good?" he asked
