Appearance: Ingrid is 5'6" and weighs about 130 lbs. She has light brown eyes, a trait from her mother. She dyes her hair a different color every two weeks, for variety. It can change to pink, blue or green. She tends to go with blue since it's her favorite color. Her hair is mainly short except for her frontmost bangs, which reach her shoulders. She is slender but she can weld a giant mallet, which sometimes can confuse her opponents. She wears clothes some would consider "punk" but she doesn't care. No matter how "punk" or "strange" she looks, she always manages to make the look work. She always wears a small silver locket that was given to her by Gideon as a birthday present.
Personality: She is a very friendly person. She will listen if anyone has a problem and she will try to help in any way she can. She is honest and truthful. She cautious around people she doesn't know or that she only just met. She is loyal to her friends and her boyfriend, Gideon Steel. She is very caring and fun. Beware her bad side, though. She can be deadly when she's pissed. When asked about her past she gets, defensive, angry and tense. She helps anyone in trouble, often getting her in her own trouble. She is very protective of her close friends and Gideon and is willing to die to proptect them.
Special Abilities:
Strength: She is stronger than any girl her age should be. She is able to weld a giant mallet and move it with ease. She has trained for years to be that strong.
Agility: She was a gymnast when she was young, causing her to be extremely nimble and quick. Although she isn't really fast, she constantly trains as she tries to get better.
Fighting/Weaponry: She is expertly trained in Jeet Kune Do and Taekwondo. She resorts to these especially when unarmed but tries to incorporate as much as she can when she's armed. Her weapon of choice would be her trusty mallet. It is very large and weighs almost 210 lbs. She also uses knives and has good accuracy with them. She doesn't really like using guns but she will if she absolutely needs to.
History: Ingrid was born to a sweet and loving family. Her mother was an artist and her father was a rich guy. But he wasn't snobby or mean like some rich people are. They decided to move to Gotham when she was three, deciding that it will better a better place for her to grow up. She grew up like any normal kid, even though her dad was rich. Her dad didn't her to grow up papmered like he was. In truth, her father was an assassin working for whoever paid more. That's how he got rich since he started being an assassin at a young age. He wanted got get out of that life and he went against his current employer. He had already put his family in danger by telling his wife the truth. That's why they ran from New York, to try and escape. Her whole life changed one chilly night when she was six. A group of "robbers" broke into their home and went after her father first. He managed to kill one but was gunned down by the others. She saw it and it horrified her. When they turned the gun to her, her mother got in front of her and got killed instead. They stole all they could and decided to leave her alone and scared. She sat on the floor of the house, crying her eyes out. When she couldn't stand it any longer, she ran to Emma Stone's, her mother's best friend's, house. Emma took her in and she told her son to take care of her.
She knew she wanted revenge but didn't know how to get it. She continued with her gymnastics all through middle and high school. When she first entered high school, she met Gideon Steel. He was a senior and was extremely popular. She was sitting alone during lunch and suddenly, he joined her. All throughout her first year, the two became best friends. She went to his place and that's when she began training in Jeet Kune Do and Taekwondo. All through her high school career, she went and trained at his house. The two grew closer as she continued to come. When she reached eighteen, they began to date. He was the one that had given her the mallet, which he had made specifically for her. One day, she saw the robbers that killed her parents and decided to test her skills. She easily defeated them and left them for the police to find. The robbers' "leader" told her that they were ordering to kill her parents. That revealed that they were actually assassins. She told Gideon and he actually believed her. She is currently living with Gideon and is loving it. She still goes out to fight crime, sometimes even with Gideon. She decided that the name "Dark Raven" was fitting since the raven is her favorite bird.
She still has nightmares about the night her parents were killed and the horror she felt as she watched, helpless and afraid. This often causes her to lose sleep or to not sleep at all. She began to take a medication to try and help her sleep, but it doesn't always work. She plans to find out who the robbers were working for and make them pay, if they weren't already captured or in Arkham.
