(This is After Annabelle Lee)
Alison walked into her slightly messy apartment. She was excited about the bow that she recent bought with Matthew that she almost forgot about her apartment. Setting the bow down, she saw the mess. Upset with herself she started cleaning. Finally content with how her home looked she started to clean her violin. She wanted to try it out and practice. Her violin was a wooden old fashion with a nice finish, not the electric kind. After all she did promise Matthew to play for him sometime. Sitting on her couch she turned her violin. She hadn’t play for a while and it needed it. While tuning it she listened for the sounded interact with the walls. Find that it didn’t echo right, she start her journey to the roof.
She walked onto the roof. Since her apartment had its own roof access, the last people who lived there had turned it into a lovely garden. A waterfall pond and lots of trees helped made this seem more like a dream. She had tried to keep it the same but with strange people jumping roof top to roof top it made it somewhat hard. She did her best though. Checking the temperature she found that it was just right that her violin wouldn’t ruin. It was the last thing she needed to have her instrument ruined. She found a comfortable spot on a concrete bench to sit on. Sitting straight she placed the violin on her shoulder and under her chin. She played a few notes to feel how the music reverberated.
Happy with the sound she closed her eyes to play a song like she liked. She knew how to play by ear and to play with music sheets which was hard to do. The song was from a movie she enjoys watching. In her imagination she was standing in front of a crowd of people, a concert. She never really had the chance to play in one since her they couldn’t afford it and her mother was working. I wasn’t that she despised her mother but she was all about drinking. Pushing the thought away continued to disappear from the world.
This is the music that she will be playing.
