This is a thread where the mods will post links to character analysis, scanned comic panels, magazine articles, meta and other information about the canon characters featured in the game.
Since The Knowledge subforum is mod-posting only, feel free to send on links to content that's Relevant To Our Interests and I will post them on your behalf.
To kick us off, here's a free-to-read (perfectly legal!) scan of a wonderful Harvey-centric comic from Bruce Timm's Batman: Black And White series. I've shown a few people an animated version of this, which is available on YouTube if you hunt for it.
I love this comic. In essence it's a story of Harvey Dent's attempt at rehabilitation and of one (two?) of his many doomed love affairs. For me it cuts to the heart of why he will never be happy in comic canon - Harvey himself will always long for a settled, conventional married life but Two-Face demands more. To quote the comic, he needs a lover whose "savage heart is as black and hateful as my own".
The noirish setting and the 1940s-1950s style costumes suit Harvey's character perfectly. I've always loved artists who draw Harvey in trenchcoats and fedoras!
