Full Name[/i]: James Marco Carrero
Alias (if applicable)[/i]: N/A
Birthday[/i]: 22 February, 1984
Age[/i]: 26
Hometown[/i]: Gotham
Appearance[/i]:
Dark brown, slightly curled hair, though it sometimes looks black, mid-brown eyes and gold capped teeth. Carrero often wears suits, sometimes with a tie and sometimes without, though more often than not a pin stripe blazer, normally black, regardless of what else he'd wearing. He normally, also, wears large watches on his right wrist and, sometimes, a gold ring on his left, index finger. James stands short, at 5'9 and is a little above average in weight.
Personality[/i]:
Very much a social person, though he tends not to socialise with many people outside his own mob, Carrero is very much a rule breaker and he has no respect for the convention of parley. He is often very jokey, sometimes seen as taunting, but has a short temper. He doesn't tend to care much for people outside his own mob except for his brother's mob. James can be ruthless, though he only shows this when angry. Carrero is also quite secretive and hard to get answers out of once he decides to shut up or once he gets his guard up.
James has also got the kind of personality, sometimes, that attracts people with power to him. He has always been overly confident in himself but often uses his gold teeth and his jewellery as a way to make himself seem more important. Most of his watches are fakes, and he knows they are, but they look like the real thing, so he will wear them regardless.
Special Abilities: none.
History:
Born to Donna and Vitale Carrero on the 22nd of February, 1984, James Carrero is two years younger than his brother, Luke Alfieri Carrero and, though James has always been more of a wild child than Luke, the pair have always stuck together.
While growing up, James hung around more with the popular children, recognising that power could easily get you places in the world. He used to use the power that more people got him and he dropped people once their power over others wore thin. This got him a lot of enemies during his childhood but other children tended not to try and beat him as they knew about his short temper... When he was ten, he threw a stapler at his teacher when she punished him for not doing homework. When he was sixteen, he got arrested for beating another teacher when they asked him to stop throwing paper at other students. His temper has always gotten him into trouble, as has his short attention span, which makes him, often, hard to get along with as he doesn't stop moving, or fidgeting, for long...
On December the 22nd, 2000, Donna Carrero shot her husband twice in the head. She also slashed his throat open twice and stabbed him twenty-two times. However, her sons both cleared the house up so that their mother couldn't be tied to the murder. Then, two months later, on James' seventeenth birthday, his mother killed herself. She'd shot herself twice, once in the stomach and once in the head. James found her in the living room and it was later found that she had two English, 2p coins in her mouth...
When he was twenty, James formed a mob with his brother. It was small, there only being nine men, including James and Luke, but the mob earned money, often stealing shipments from other small mobs to then sell on whatever they had stolen. But they only ever sold on what the men in the mob didn't want, basically, whatever was left over after James and Luke's men had taken whatever they wanted. This kept their men happy and their men, therefore, kept their mouths shut around the police. James learned early on that to keep yourself from being caught, you must not do the same thing too often. Some nights, for example, the small mob would steal from a jewellery store, another night they'd be dealing whatever drugs they could get their hands on, the next night they would be mugging people in alleyways. Sometimes they even did hits for other mobs, provided the price was right.
Two months after the brothers formed their mob, they met two other brothers, Rapheldo and Rodolpho. Rodolpho was eighteen, Rapheldo was sixteen. These two joined the Carrero mob and the number was brought up to eleven. But with the two new members, came eleven more members, bringing the numbers up to twenty two. They continued to do the same as they always had, bringing in more stolen goods and doing more hits, among other favours, for fellow mobs and mob bosses. This got the Carrero's a lot of popularity with the more powerful mobs and the brothers felt comfortable with their current life. That is, however, until almost two years after they first formed this mob. One night, they were stealing a shipment, there was only a handful of them as the two brothers had suspected there was a rat in the mob, and the police caught the handful of five men as they were about to steal the shipment. The two brothers figured out who the rat was and James, in a blind rage, promptly shot him in the head. It was around this time that the brothers decided to split the mob, once again up to twenty two members, into two seperate mobs. They, and the other pair of brothers, agreed that this was a good idea and the youngest brothers, James and Rapheldo, took eleven men and continued the mob, with James Carrero in charge. Luke did the same with the help of Rodolpho.
Around two months after the single mob had seperated, James and Luke had a mini mob war. By this time, the two mobs had twenty two members each, including the brothers on both sides. Rodolpho and Rapheldo refused to fight, saying that they could not do that to each other but would happily help their leaders with killing other people. The first war started on Luke Carrero's twenty sixth birthday. It ended on James' twenty fourth before starting up again two months later, on the second of April. This, again, went on for twenty days before the Carrero brothers called a truce. James had been talked into it when eleven of his men had been killed off, as had eleven of Luke's men.
Now, two years after the mini wars, James and Luke are still seperate mobs, but both also, still, have eleven members each. The pair continuously join their mobs together whenever they need to, and more often than not they recruit brothers, one brother on each mob, so that the two mobs work better together than if they weren't all brothers.
