Ruby stifled a giggle at the boy who wanted to be a knight. Turning to the brunette, she smiled and began to play with her Rubik's cube again. "It's called a Rubik's cube. It's a game where you have to make all the sides of the cube have a different colour. Like, this side could be all blue," She pointed at a random side. "It's quite hard." She muttered, her smile faltering.
At the mention of a tea party, she scrunched up her nose. "Uhm, what do you do at a tea party?" Having never been to one, she found it strange that people would go to a tea party, her parents usually had dinner parties with a fizzy clear-ish liquid and, as unusual as it was, the guests started to sing very loudly and badly and start to dance and fall. Is this what would happen at the girl's tea party? Ruby's eyebrows raised dramatically at the thought.

Joker giggled at Harvey. "I bet you want to kiss Gilda all the time. Harvey and Gilda sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G! First comes loooove, then comes maaaaaarriage then comes baby in a baby carriage!"
Joker rolled around on the floor in helpless laughter. He gazed up at Harvey's plastic helmet. "I wanna be a clown. Harvey, get me clown stuff while you're in there."
He sat up and moved over to Ruby. "Can I see your toy? I bet you I can beat it way faster than you!"

Young Johnny Crane was led into the room by one of the adults. After being told to run along and play he quickly went to a corner and began to draw pictures. Pictures of spiders and bats and snakes. Looking down at the he laughed. Scary things were his favorite.

Bruce had been sitting in a chair ignoring everyone around him. Suddenly he looked up. His best bud, Harvey was wearing a helmet and that Jack....or Joker, jocker, jimbo, or who ever he was, was being as weird as ever. Getting up he went over the the ball rack and pulled one down. Looking at it for a moment he turned.
"Hey Harvey!"
Without waiting for a response he threw the ball to his friend as hard as he could.

"You drink tea, eat sweets and talk. " Young Kat answered Ruby as she fiddled with one of her braided pigtails. Nodding slowly as she listened to her explain what the cube toy was but before she could ask anything else about it, Joker wanted to solve it already. Her eyes wandered around the room looking over at the scrawny kid being put in the corner and was busy drawing.

Ruby nodded at Kat and smiled. "Ooh, I like the sound of that! I'm in for that!" She squealed. Turning to the blonde boy, she stared at him before opening her hand. "Uhm, well, I can't really do it yet, maybe if you do it, you could show me? Then maybe we'll see who can do it faster!" She grinned and placed the toy in his hands. "D-Don't break it though! My mommy gave me that! And if you break it..." She warned, a scowl on her face.

Harvey nodded excitedly at Joker and started rummaging for the green wig he had seen in the dressing-up box last week. He surfaced when he heard Bruce calling him, and craned back his head to look at him, the knight's helmet having fallen over his eyes.
The ball Bruce had thrown bounced off the top of his head, knockng down the plastic visor over Harvey' eyes. He flailed around for a moment, half blinded, before he managed tp push the visor back up. Holding the helmet protectively in place on his head, he scampered over to his friend.
"Hi Bruce! I'm going to be a knight! You should be a knight too. We can have battles." He held out a dark-coloured tabard. He whacked Bruce on the arm with the plastic sword. "Ha ha, I got you."
Harvey suddenly remembered that he was meant to be collecting dressing-up clothes for Joker and Gilda, and scampered back to the box.

Joker took the cube and shot Ruby a skeptical look. "What are ya gonna do, steal my lunch? It ain't very good so even you wouldn't want it and I bet you eat poop. 'Sides, I won't break your toy."
He turned the object over in his hands a few times and gave it an experimental twist. Before he was even fully aware of what he was doing, one side was all the same color.
A triumphant grin sparkled on his pale face before he was distracted by Harvey's flailing. He tossed the cube back at Ruby and stalked over to the box. "Bruce can't be a knight." He said with the dirtiest glare a 6 year old could muster. "Bruce has to be the ugly princess that nobody wants to talk to and gets run over by all the horses."

Katarina went back over to the tea party table gathering several chairs for all the guest. She was just happy to have some real company. Knocking the dolls off the chairs that were occupied giving them room. Fixes the tiara on her head humming another tune again as she took her seat.

Post by Harley Quinn on Jan 24, 2011 23:59:07 GMT
Harleen Quinzel was throwing a tantrum as her mother dropped her off at the elementary school. The little blonde girl wanted to stay with her mom, but it was clear that wasn't happening as she prized her daughter from her and ran as fast as she could back to the car, leaving her daughter blinking up the crocodile tears she'd shed with her big blue eyes. As the teacher led her into the room, the little girl's blonde pigtails bounced and her red dungarees swished at the flared bottoms.
Taking in everyone in the room, Harley decided she didn't really like the look of any of them and sat down on a spare bit of floor, clutching onto her barbie doll.

Post by Matthew Reid on Feb 2, 2011 20:21:09 GMT
Walking through the door and into the room moments after the blonde, Matthew looked around the room, decided that he couldn't be bothered to join in and planted himself in the middle of the room, on the floor. He dug around in his pocket for a pocket watch he'd taken from his father's draw in the living room this morning and untangled the chain before he stuck it to his ear. The ticking was enough to amuse him for a little while...
He then shook the watch, opened it, almost pulled it apart trying to get the pin out to set the time (which ended up wrong) before he jammed the pin back in and re-stuck the watch to his ear.
Putting the pocket watch on the floor, Matthew then pulled another watch that belonged to William Reid out of his pocket, this one being a wrist watch, and he put it on without undoing it. He didn't need to, considering his six year old hands were small enough to get the watch on without any trouble...
Brushing his long, rather curly brown hair out of his eyes irritatedly, Matthew glanced around, shoved the pocket watch into his pocket, pushed his seemingly huge glasses up and watched the other boys before wandering off to get something to read and only finding a picture book. Not that he cared much, he could still read what little words there were...
