Bitter satisfaction flooded Harvey as Bruce was knocked sideways. The scarred side of Harvey's mouth pulled back even further from his exposed teeth.
"It does, actually. For once I'm not divided on the matter. Look at that, Bruce. You might have cured me. All you had to do was have an affair with the woman I hoped to marry. Your sainted father was a doctor wasn't he? He would be so proud of how you've turned out."

Bruce allowed his rage to cloud his sight. His fists clenched as his voice lowered to a growl.
"Do you really think the two of you were going to be happily married and everything would be okay? Do you remember Gilda Harvey? You can cause nothing but pain and suffering Harvey Dent."
He rushed forward, letting his right arm fly in a hard right punch toward Harvey's head.
"And at least my father gave a damn!"

The force of the punch knocked Harvey backwards, and he half span, putting out an arm to check his fall before he was knocked entirely off his feet. The damaged skin over his left browbone split at Bruce's punch, and a bead of blood rolled down his face like a tear.
"What would you know about suffering, you smug bastard?" he hissed as he pulled himself back upright. "You hide up in your mansion with your models and prima ballerinas and throw money at all the poor peasants below becuase you think you know what horror is. You'll never understand it. Or us."
He breathed hard and felt Two-Face stir like a shark sensing blood in the water. "Because it wasn't me that hurt either of them!"
On the last word he lunged forwards to tackle Bruce, and struck out with his foot to try and land a blow to his kidneys.

Bruce allowed the kick to sail into his side, lurching away at the last moment to soften the blow. Slamming his arm down he made a move to catch Harvey's leg. With that he threw his other arm out in a sweeping arch, his hand moving to wrap around Harvey's neck. Putting his weight on one leg the other flashed out to wrap behind Harvey's planted foot in a take down.
"Then let him out Harvey! If you can't control him let me beat some sense into him instead!"

Olivia was finding it extremely difficult to bring herself to pack. Her body felt as heavy as lead and every movement was an effort. Unable to work up the motivation to start emptying drawers, Olivia decided to procrastinate and go ask Harvey a question. She had heard raised voices but didn't pay much attention to them as she had been expecting them to argue
She wiped the tears off of her face, took a deep breath and walked out of the bedroom. "Harvey, where's the laundry bas-" she froze. They weren't just arguing, they were fighting. The two men in her life were in a fist fight.
Her gaze took in the gun on the floor and she felt a surge of fear. This was very, very bad.
At Bruce's words, Olivia strode forward, careful to stay out of range. "What the fuck is wrong with you two?" She shouted, eyes blazing. "Knock it off!"

Harvey hit the floor with a grunt of pain. He tried to roll to one side to escape any blows while he was prone, but his throat was caught in a choke hold. His fingers closed hard around Bruce's wrist, trying to yank it free, but Bruce was surprisingly strong. Even through his rage, he found himself wondering how on earth Bruce Wayne of all people turned into such a badass?
Harvey's eyes turned briefly to Ollie as she started at them in shock, and took advantage of the sudden shift in the room. He straightened his hand and lashed out at the back of Bruce's knee in a chopping motion, aiming for the hamstring.
"You don't know what you're asking for," he snarled, fury flashing in his eyes at he glared balefully at Bruce.

Bruce's gaze flew to Olivia. He still had his hand tight around Harvey's throat as he spoke.
"Olivia stay back!"
As Harvey's hand came across the back of his knee Bruce went to one knee. He released his Hold on Harvey and rolled away. He had allowed himself to be distracted. A stupid mistake.
He came to rest still on one knee, resting one arm across his knee used his other fist on the ground for balance.for balance.
"I don't care! Show him to me Harvey. Let him out. Let me face him. You say you are two different people, well let me face the man I came here to face!"

Harvey scrambled to his feet and looked at Olivia again, his anger struggling with pain. She shouldn't have to see this, but her betrayal, and Bruce's, seemed to cut him afreash every time he thought of them together. He gritted his teeth and stepped back, fingers closing on his coin.
"He'll kill you," Harvey warned. "No matter what karate lessons or Tae Bo DVD you've been working out to. He won't think twice about it. He'd enjoy it."
He held out the coin, preparing to flip it to see if Bruce would indeed face his other self.

Bruce rose to his feet, putting himself back in a fighting stance. If only Harvey knew just how strong he was. This fight could turn bloody, for both of them, without the the suit for protection.
"Let him come."

"God damn it, Bruce!" Olivia screamed, anxiously gripping her hair. "Stop antagonizing him! Both of you just...just stop it! You're acting like children!"
They could very easily kill each other and that was a very unpleasant prospect. Harvey was underestimating Bruce's strength and Bruce was underestimating Two-Face's fury. Part of her understood that they needed to get this out but that was hardly comforting. There was obviously a lot more pent up between them than her betrayal.
They were still being idiots.
Knowing that getting in the middle of them would be extremely foolish, especially if Two-Face came out, she stayed where she was and wrung her hands nervously. "Seriously, please don't do this."

Harvey looked over to Olivia again and wiped a trickle of blood out of his left eye. "No," he growled. "You don't get to tell us what to do. Not any more. What reason have I got to I listen to you now?" He flicked the coin upwards and caught it one handed, then lifted it in his palm and opened his fingers. He regarded it in silence then turned his hand towards Bruce. "Your lucky day," Two-Face growled. "Happy?" He strode forwards, teeth bared in a snarl, and struck out with a punch aimed at Bruce's abdomen.

Bruce staggered and doubled over as the wind was torn from his lungs. This hit was harder than the others, Harvey had truly let go. Now they might get somewhere.
"About time!"
He threw himself upward, aiming the back of his head at Harvey's jaw. An uppercut with his skull. Unconventional for sure, but hopefully effective.

A cry of pain and rage escaped Two-Face as Bruce's head conencted hard with his jaw. He fell backwards, pain throbbing through him. He strugged to his feet, breathing hard, then spat a mouthful of blood onto the floor.
"You might be a spoiled, pampered rich boy, Wayne, but at least you don't fight like a ponce. Not like your dad. Maybe if he'd had some balls he'd have lived longer."

As Harvey fell backwards Bruce slapped himself across the face to clear the ringing from his skull. Squaring his stance once more he faced Dent as the other man struggled up off the floor. When he spoke Bruce's anger erupted. He let out a primal yell as he rushed forward. He threw his arms out, reaching for Harvey's throat.
He wanted to hurt Harvey. To drive his fists into his flesh and to rip the breath from his lungs. He was letting his rage and his anger take over his actions. He didn't care anymore.
"That's right Harvey, blame it all on my father, on my upbringing! Find an excuse, any excuse! Find a reason to believe that it's anybody's fault but your own!"

Two-Face recognised that Bruce was wild, his self-control gone, and he sneered as the younger man rushed forwards. He caught Bruce's wrists and flung his own weight to one side to throw his opponent off balance. He threw his forearm around Bruce's neck in a cruelly tight chokehold and forced him forwards, out through the open french doors to the balcony.
Eyes still burning with hate and fury, Two-Face pushed Bruce against the balcony railing, facing down te dizying height to the street below. He leaned forwards to hiss in Bruce's ear.
"22 storeys. It's a long way down. Bruce. And I of all people know how easy it is to fall from such great heights." He pressed his body aginst Bruce in order to hold him tightly against the railings, and fumbled in his pocket for the coin. "Want me to see if your luck holds out a second time?"
