"Sounds lovely." Katarina smiled as she listened to the other woman talk about where her dream home was to be when she got a new job. She had her own dreams too. One of them was to bring her father and mother back in some form with the robotic technology she had. "Yea, it's nice to have family." Forcing her lips to smile at the subject even though she missed her own terribly. She didn't have anyone alive family wise in Gotham that she was aware of. Listening to the band play the music now.

Lavinia's smile dwindled when she caught Katarina's despondent vibe. Contemplating on how to cheer the girl up she sat in contemplation for a few moments until hearing the melody of a familiar song, mentally she squealed with mirth. If there was one type of music Lavinia loved it was jazz. Especially from the 30's and 40's.
Springing up from her chair she positively beamed at the brunette opposite her, "You wanna learn how to do a Suzy Q?" She bidded.

Looking at the woman with a puzzled gaze before she just shrugged, "Sure why not." Deciding to do something on the spurt of the moment. Coming to a stand from the bar stool going with her to the dance floor.

If it weren't for the fact Lavinia was wearing heels, she'd be bounding over to the dancefloor.
Once she had taken to the space that was already thriving with dancers she grinned, relishing in the music for a few seconds. Smoothing down her dress she found a vacant area and stood beside Katarina.
"Alright, so first you gotta do a diagonal with your arms," she instructed, extending her arms out to demonstrate,"then swing your right foot around infront of you with your back foot on the ball of your toes."

Katarina followed her instructions learning how to dance. Positioning her arms diagonally. Beginning to swing her right foot out. It took her a while before she actually followed the rhythm of the music so she wasn't dancing off beat. "Where'd you learn how to dance?"

"I learned tap and swing since I was nine...after seeing Singing in the Rain I wanted to be just like Debbie Reynolds, even learned a bit of singing at college." Lavinia replied, not meaning to boast just being...honest. She bared a joyful smile while shuffling her heels out and inwards to the side for Katarina to follow.
"Mama booked me lessons at a dance school, a small place next to Grant Park. The teacher was pretty ace. She taught us tap then threw swing in the mix when I was around twelve." Lavinia continued teaching Katarina the dance move until she began repeating it over a fair few times, enjoying guiding the brunette.

Joker decided that Harvey had been having enough fun without him. He got up, tugged lightly on Olivia's dress and then walked over to the other booth. He grabbed the second drink that Penguin had provided for The Harveys and slid into the booth next to Harvey.
"This looks like a fun little get together. What are we talking about?"

His attention caight by the music, Harvey glanced over to the dance floor where two women were dancing in 20's style. He gave a smile that was more genuine than before. He looked closer. Was that Kat?
Harvey wasn't at all shocked when Joker slid onto the seat next to him; it was always a given that Joker would try to crsh his meeting at some point. He was only mildly surprised Joker had let him get business out of the way first.
"Hello, Joker. I meant to come over later; I've been in a meeting. Have you met Oswald Cobblepot?"
He turned to Penguin. "Oswald, this a friend of mine. Meet the Joker."
He looked over to Olivia and shot her a half-amused, half despairing look. "Room for one more over here, Ollie."
~Tell him that was MY drink, Harvey.~
Harvey ignored him.

Olivia shot Joker a confused look as he tugged at her dress before disappearing. He switched between violent and gentle so quickly that it was hard to keep up.
She stood up and walked over to the booth when Harvey addressed her. "Nice to see you too." She said, wrinkling her nose at him.
She realized with slight irritation that the only open spots in the booth were either Joker's lap or next to Penguin. She sighed heavily and sat down next to the strange, short man and idly picked at the edge of the table.
"So...What's up, guys?"

"That's good that you had such a nice childhood." Kat smiled continuing to keep up with her. It was fun to find out she had a hidden talent. Feeling a set of eyes on her as she looked over at the populated booth. Two-face, Joker, Ollie and Penguin all together. She would have joined if they allowed her company but it did look rather crowded.

Harvey smiled at her. "Ollie, as I just told Joker, this is Oswald Cobblepot, the landlord. Oswald, meet Olivia Hale. My girlfriend. Who looks more stunning than ever tonight."
He reached across the table and squeezed Olivia's hand. She was enchanting when she wrinkled her nose at him like that. Well, she was always enchanting.

Olivia didn't return the squeeze, but also didn't pull away. "Mr. Cobblepot and I sort of met earlier before you showed up. Nice suit, by the way. It's very..." Her eyes shifted between the contrasting colors, trying to find a word to describe it. "Effective?"
She pulled her hand back to tuck her hair behind her ears and looked up at the large bodyguards. "I'm Olivia." She said, loud enough for them to hear. "You're very tall."

~What do you suppose I did this time?~ Harvey asked Two-Face when Ollie did not squeeze his hand in return.
His other self shrugged. ~Beats me, Harv.~
Harvey glanced down at his suit and straightened his tie; solid red on one side and chequered black and white on the other. "It's one of Two-Face's. Our tailor is a very patient man, all things considered."
He glanced at his bodyguards, who remained studiously silent, though they turned their heads in unison to look at her. Harvey sighed silently.
"Ollie, you haven't met Romulus and Remus. Guys, this is Olivia."

Olivia quirked a small smile. "I can imagine. It must be a pain sewing the suits together like that. The look suits you, though."
She waved cheerfully at Romulus and Remus. "I like your names. Very mythical."
She glanced at Penguin and Joker then back at Harvey. "It is quite nice to see you, by the way. As charming as your other half is, this one works much better for me." She reached her leg over to hook her foot around his ankle. "I've missed you."

Harvey gave a thin smiile. As much as he loved Olivia, he had to admit to himself she was not the usual type of girl that became a gangster's girlfriend.
The two bodyguards looked down at her, then at their boss, then back at Olivia before slowly turning back to watch the rest of the club.
"They used to work for Maroni. I liquidated most of his staff base when I took over his gang, but why waste talent like theirs? Conversation isn't their strong point, though. "
Harvey pressed his foot against hers under the table, smiling briefly, then moved it gently away. "I'll be working most of the night, Ollie."
