((Set after Happiness is Overrated))
Olivia stumbled out into Harvey's living room, yawning widely. She had spent the night and was now in search of food. The apartment was chilly so she'd opted to steal one of Harvey's sweaters. She hadn't been awake enough to figure out where her pants had ended up so her legs remained bare.
Yawning again, Olivia grabbed a throw and wrapped it around herself as she meandered into the kitchen. She blinked slowly as she gazed into the refrigerator, trying to force her thoughts to connect enough to cook something.

Harvey opened the apartment door and dropped a newspaper on the hall table. His hair was damp and he was dressed casually in jeans and a dark sweater.
He smiled as he saw Olivia poking through the fridge. "Morning, beautiful. I've been at the gym. I was going to wake you to say I was heading out but you look like such an angel when you're asleep that I didn't have the heart."
He kissed the top of her head and crossed to the work surface, taking down two mugs from a cupboard and beginning to brew coffee for the two of them.
He glanced over. "Cold, sweetheart?"

Olivia looked up belatedly as Harvey came back in. She closed the fridge and walked over to him. She yawned as she slid her arms under his sweater and pressed her cold hands against his back.
"Too early." She grumbled, burying her face in his chest. "I don't understand how you can already be up and doing things. It's weird. You're just weird."

He yelped as her cold hands touched him. "You're frozen, Ollie. I'll turn up the heating. I suppose I've gotten used to the temperatures at Arkham. Now I'm back in civilisation I should adjust my habits accordingly."
He laughed and chafed her arms with his hands to warm them. "Yeah. But you love me anyway."
His eyes swept down her body and back up again. "You look delicious. Cold but delicious. Like... ice cream."

Olivia's smile froze on her face. There was no way for him to know...Coincidence. It had to be a coincidence.
She laughed nervously. "Um, thanks. So! Would you like me to make you something for breakfast? I can make...um...pancakes and scrambled eggs? I can't make any promises about how they taste, but I guess its worth a shot."

Harvey didn't notice her nervousnes, too distracted by the prospect of spending a proper Saturday morning with Olivia. It had been far too long since he'd had the opportunity to do anything that could remotely be described as normal couple behaviour. Living in a newly-liberated insane asylum and spending half his time as someone else put far too many limitations on a relationhip.
Two-Face had been silent for days. It tugged at him, but Harvey wasn't precisely worried; that would be the wrong word. It wasn't unknown for his other self to disappear for periods of time. Normally it meant he was either incredibly depressed or he was plotting something unpleasant. Harvey suspected that in this case it was both.
"It's fine. You go get warmed up, I'll make breakfast. I'm in the mood for bacon, actually. Bacon and eggs ok? If you insist on helping you can look after the coffee."

The guilt of was eating away at Bruce. He took the steps two at a time as he made his way up Dent's apartment. He didn't know why he was here, only that he was. He wasn't even sure what he might say to Harvey when he arrived but he knew he needed to see his friend.
He reached to door to Harvey's apartment and paused. He almost turned back for a moment before he knocked. It had to be done.

Ollivia kissed Harvey's cheek. "I'll leave it to you, good sir. You're the best."
She wrapped her blanket more tightly around herself as she walked out into the living room to collapse on the couch. A knock on the door stopped her and she sighed. Figuring that it was just one of Harvey's associates, she simply made certain that she was covered by the blanket before opening the door. Perhaps it was Tally Man. She hadn't seen him in a while...
It wasn't Tally Man.
"Bruce!" Olivia exclaimed, looking startled. "What...um...good morning?"

Harvey looked round at Olivia's greeting and smiled widely.
"Bruce! What a surprise. Come on in. We've got coffee on. It's early for you to be in the city. Or haven't you been home yet from last night, Mr Billionaire Playboy?" he teased.
He crossed to Bruce and hugged him, then stepped back a pace, eyes movign over Bruce's face. His friend looked drawn and tense. "You ok?" Harvey asked quietly.

Olivia glanced between Harvey and Bruce, chewing on her lip. "I'm going to...um...go get changed." She shot Bruce an unreadable look before disappearing into the bedroom.
"Shitshitshitshitshit!" Olivia muttered, kicking one of her shoes that had been abandoned on the floor. "I hate my life." She grumbled to herself as she pulled on a pair of old jeans, black tank top and pink cardigan. Olivia was surprised to find a pair of purple flats that she had apparently left at some point. She slipped them on, brushed her hair and threw it back into a messy ponytail.

Bruce's chest tightened as Olivia opened the door.
"Olivia...I..."
Before he had time to answer Harvey was in front of him.
"Yea, Harve. I'm fine. I...I just thought I would drop by. It's been awhile since I've seen you."
He came inside the apartment, giving a sideways glance at Olivia as she disappeared into the bedroom. He brought a sense of playfulness back into his voice.
"It doesn't look like I was as busy as you two."

He nodded. "It has; far too long. I've moved back out of Arkham and back here full time, so you'll have to come over more often."
Harvey suddenly noticed a stray stocking lying on the back of the sofa and tried to surreptitiously remove it as he passed. Since Two-Face had fallen silent the evening before, he had taken the opportunity to spend some private time with Ollie without his other self looking in. It had been most enjoyable.
He took Bruce's coat and hung it in the closet next to the front door then led him through to the rest of the apartment.
He looked at Bruce again, searching his expression. "You're not fine, are you, Bruce?" he asked softly. "What's up?"

Bruce followed Harvey deeper into the apartment. He spoke softly to Harvey.
"Harve...I....It's...It's nothing. We'll talk later. I didn't expect you to have company. I should've called. Don't worry though. It'll be fine."
He raised his voice.
"So what have you been up to Harvey? Out of the hospital and into the city? Not getting into any trouble are you?"

Olivia heard Bruce's voice raise in volume and figured that was her cue to come back out. She plastered what she hoped was a cheerful smile on her face and walked out to join the two men.
"Well this is certainly a pleasant surprise. Harv, want me to put on some more coffee? I'm not sure there's enough for the three of us."

Harvey gazed at his friend a moment longer before smiling faintly in reply. "Bruce, you never need an invitation. You're always welcome here." Something was evidently very wrong, but Bruce would talk about it in his own time.
"Trouble, me? I don't know who you're thinking of." His voice grew quieter. "Actually I'm enjoying something of a holiday for a few days. Two-Face is in no mood to get any work done. He broke up with his... whatever. I wouldn't say 'boyfriend' but that's far too normal a phrase. I don't know what to call them."
He looked over at Olivia. "That would be great. Bruce, we were just about to have breakfast. I hope you're hungry."
